Wylex

Wylex NMT2 Type 2 surge protection device. A 1-module SPD that clips into a Wylex NM or high-integrity board to protect an installation against transient overvoltages from switching and nearby lightning. 

 

Rated 40kA, single pole and neutral, it meets the 18th Edition Amendment 2 requirement to assess and, in most cases, fit surge protection. A cheap module now versus fried consumer electronics, EV chargers and heat pumps later.
