We stock Adaptaflex metal flexible conduit: bare galvanised steel in 20mm (10m reel, IP40), and black PVC coated steel in 20mm (10m and 25m reels) and 25mm (25m reel), rated IP65. To finish the job there are Adaptaflex brass, nickel plated connector glands in fixed and swivel types, in 20mm (M20) and 25mm (M25), in packs of 10. For lighter work, we stock 20mm and 25mm plastic flexible conduit contractor packs on 10m reels.

Bare steel flexible conduit is strong and handles heat well, but it is only IP40, so it suits dry indoor areas. PVC coated steel adds a sealed outer layer and is rated IP65, so it keeps out dust and water jets and suits damp areas, outdoors and plant rooms.
Match the gland to the conduit size and the entry thread. Use the 20mm gland (M20 thread) with 20mm conduit and the 25mm gland (M25 thread) with 25mm conduit. Choose a swivel gland when the conduit needs to turn freely as it is fitted.
A fixed gland screws straight into the entry with the conduit attached. A swivel gland lets the conduit rotate as you tighten it, so the run does not twist. Swivel types are easier on long or tight runs.
