NHXL MCBs are made for the Wylex NM range of consumer units and high integrity boards. Keep breakers and board the same brand, because consumer units are tested as an assembly with the maker's own devices.
Type B for most domestic circuits: lighting, sockets, showers and cookers. Type C trips at a higher surge current, for motors, transformers and large banks of LED lighting.
Type B: 6, 10, 16, 20, 32 and 40A (NHXLB06 to NHXLB40). Type C: 16A (NHXLC16).
