Wago

Wago 221 lever connectors are the quick, reusable way to join cables in junction boxes, light fittings and consumer unit tails. Lift the lever, push the stripped wire in, close it, and the joint is made with no screws to tighten.

The 221-412, 221-413 and 221-415 take conductors up to 4mm² in 2, 3 and 5 way versions. For bigger cables, the 221-613 and 221-615 take up to 6mm². The 221-2411 is an inline splicing connector for joining two cables end to end.

All lines come in trade packs, from 15 to 100 pieces, with live stock on the full 221 range. Need a bulk quantity for a rewire? Call the branch on 01656 765 300.

What is the difference between the Wago 221-412, 221-413 and 221-415?

Which Wago connector do I need for 6mm² cable?

Use the 221-6 series. The 221-613 (3 way) and 221-615 (5 way) take conductors up to 6mm². The standard 221-4 series stops at 4mm².

What current are Wago 221 connectors rated for?

The 4mm² 221 connectors are rated 32A at 450V. The 6mm² 221-6 series is rated 41A at 450V.

Do Wago 221 connectors work with solid and stranded cable?

Yes. The 221 range takes solid, stranded and fine stranded conductors, and you can mix them in the same connector.

Can Wago lever connectors be reused?

Yes. Lift the lever and the conductor comes straight out, so the connector can be used again. The clear housing lets you check each wire is fully home before you close it.
