Kosnic LED lamp buying questions

What is the difference between B22 and E27 bulbs?

B22 is a bayonet cap, which pushes in and twists, and is the most common fitting in UK homes. E27 is a large Edison screw cap that screws in. Check the lamp holder before you order. Kosnic LED GLS bulbs come in both.

Are Kosnic Reon GU10 lamps dimmable?

Only the dimmable versions, which have a D in the code (RE05D). The standard RE05 is not dimmable. Use an LED compatible dimmer with the dimmable lamps.

Should I choose 2700K, 3000K or 4000K lamps?

2700K and 3000K are warm white, for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. 4000K is cool white, crisper for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and shops. The GLS comes in 2700K, and the Reon GU10 in 3000K or 4000K.

What does a 60 degree beam angle mean?

It is how wide the light spreads. A 60 degree GU10 gives a wider, softer spread than a narrow spotlight, so it suits general lighting from downlights rather than picking out a single object.

Which Kosnic fittings take GU10 lamps?

The Kosnic Ocala and Swimley outdoor wall lights take GU10 lamps, so the Reon GU10 fits them, along with most standard GU10 downlights.
