The Project EV APEX-7S-T is the tethered version of the 7.3kW single-phase AC charge point, with a 5m Type 2 charging cable permanently attached. It is the plug-and-charge option: nothing to fetch or store, just pull the cable out and connect, which makes it the easier daily choice for a single vehicle at home.
Like the socket model it has Pro Earth PEN fault protection built in as standard, so installers skip the earth rod and the groundworks that go with it.
It is fully solar compatible for charging from surplus PV, and intelligent dynamic load balancing adjusts the power it draws in real time so it never overloads the incoming supply.
WiFi and Bluetooth are both built in, with app control for scheduling, energy monitoring and remote updates.
